The Multi-Stripping Principle

Multi-Stripping machines provide a quick and efficient solution for removing ceramic tiles, vinyls, carpets and old flooring systems, along with their underlying adhesives and levelling compounds. There are hand-operated machines and for clearing large areas, ride-on multi-strippers. The operator selects a sharpened blade or pick (a range of types and sizes are available) suitable for the surface to be removed, which is then attached to the front of the machine. The weight of the machine holds the blade or pick hard onto the floor to affect the removal process via the forward movement of the machine.

When Would You Select Multi Stripping?
• To remove floor coverings such as sheet vinyl, ceramic and quarry tiles and wood block
• To remove latex, screeds and epoxy resin in excess of 1 mm thickness
• To remove asphalt and bitumous materials
• To remove adhesives and thermoplastic materials
