The Preparation Group and of companies thereafter referred to as the Group recognises its responsibilities to promote high standards of Environmental performance as an integral part of the groups business strategy. A key element of this strategy is the groups continuing commitment to embrace the regular events of current environmental legislation and adopt the best practicable means available to develop systems for safeguarding the environment.
To assist the achievement and implementation of these aims The Preparation Group shall endeavour to:
-> Comply with the law and where practicable set the highest standards
-> Be proactive as a contractor to supply services and educate employees so as to minimise possible adverse effects on the environment.
-> Strive to encourage and introduce measures which assist the recovery and recycling of waste materials thereby reducing demand on landfill sites and preserving raw materials.
-> Use materials and energy efficiently whilst carrying out its functions
-> Liaise with the relevant Environment Protection Agencies and other regulatory bodies in developing and implementing realistic objectives and standards
-> Acknowledge the requirements of the relevant industry standards.
-> Continue to develop the awareness of all personnel to the importance of environmental issues.
-> Review this statement regularly and amend as necessary.
