Storm Pad Re-Vives Cathedral Floor - OCT 11
The Preparation Group has added a new accessory to its Storm Diamond Pad system for renovating dull, worn floors. The new 400grit Storm Pad is coarser than the existing pads in the range and is designed to effectively refurbish surfaces by removing the build up of grime. This can then be followed by working up through the finer grit sizes to achieve a deep clean and high shine polish.

Says Karl Collins, owner; "We have recently used PPC's new 400 grit Storm Pads in conjunction with its STG450 machine for refurbishing 1000m2 of French burgundy limestone flooring in a cathedral. The project presented a challenge as the floor was relatively soft, open, porous and worn and we needed an abrasive capable of smoothing out the surface. We had tried alternative options with limited success and ultimately found the Storm Pad to be the solution. We are not only pleased with the finished result, but the pads are both long lasting and double sided so have proven very cost effective."
Also available in 800, 1500 and 3000 grades, the Storm Diamond Pads produce optimum cleaning and polishing results on; resin floor surfaces, epoxy, terrazzo, marble, natural stone, concrete and vinyl without the need for harsh chemicals. They are designed to fit The Preparation Group's STG450 machine, along with most other types of surface texturing, auto scrubbing and polishing machines.
