Removing old vinyl, carpet tiles, adhesive and screeds has always been a dirty, tiring, and time consuming process. By allowing operators to complete this work whilst standing and at walking pace, the newly launched Tile Lifter and Breaker from The Preparation Group reduces operator fatigue and back strain, increases productivity, and makes savings in both time and money.
The angle of operation of the new multifunctional trolley-mounted machine can be easily adjusted and this combined with a choice of interchangeable chisels and blades means that in addition to lifting floor tiles and vinyl it will also break out concrete and stone.
The new lifter/breaker is also low vibration, reducing HAV (hand-arm vibration). It is already proving to be a popular choice with operators as the need to manually lift and handle old, removed floor surfaces is minimised.
