Burnisher 430 produces high gloss finish

For cleaning and maintaining vinyl, tiles, concrete and resin systems and creating a high gloss, glass-like finish, The Preparation Group has launched the Burnisher 430. With its high-speed operation (1500rpm) and flexible pad system, it glazes as it glides across the surface, producing a hygienic, shiny, yet non-slip shine.

A drive plate is fixed to the machine which can just be lowered onto a cleaning or scrubbing pad and used with or without chemicals/water. Cost saving and environmentally friendly cleaning can be achieved by using the Burnisher 430 with The Preparation Group’s double-sided Storm Diamond Pads and just water.

The machine features a 1.6kw motor, is easy to use with simple controls and has an adjustable handle height for operator comfort. An onboard dust collection port ensures clean results when used dry and the fold-down handle is ideal for transportation and storage. It emits a low noise level so does not disturb normal daily operations.

Producing a gloss finish on polished concrete

The Preparation Group’s contracting division PPC, was contracted to prepare, clean and polish a concrete floor for a dust-sensitive manufacturing facility and to leave a low maintenance system for its ongoing care.

The cement, sand and stone in the 8000m2 area concrete was ground and polished to a terrazzo type finish, using the Terrco® 2000 grinding and polishing machine.

After polishing, the Burnisher 430, fitted with Storm Diamond Pads, was used ‘dry’ to finish the floor, producing a high gloss, glass-like finish.

The customer purchased the Burnisher 430 for a low maintenance, on-going floor care program, together with the Storm Pads. This gave them a solution that was easy to use and, with the Burnisher featuring the onboard dust collection port, it met the requirements for a dust-sensitive environment.

Refurbishing heavily soiled vinyl

The Preparation Group’s contracting division PPC, was contracted to refurbish several hundred metres of vinyl at offices in Bristol with the aim of also leaving the customer with a solution for its on-going maintenance.

The heavily trafficked floor covering was dirty, scratched and dull. The new Burnisher 430 machine was employed, fitted with Storm Diamond Pads from 800 to the finer 1500 grades, with the addition of just water. The Burnisher’s high-speed operation glazes as it glides across the surface, with the pads producing a long-lasting shine on vinyl, tiles, concrete and resin systems.

The finished result was a gloss finish that would repel dirt and be easier to clean and maintain.
